The gift of the human experience.

Honestly, in moments where I feel a twinge of overwhelm, or any thoughts, emotions, or feelings that feel heavy and dense, a random yet beautiful thought that never fails to ground me is imagining as if I were some alien from another planet that just so happened to inhabit this beautiful vessel called a body. And this body so happens to be like the ‘spaceship’ that serves as the vehicle for me to live, breathe, experience, everything that is around me.

It’s also the vehicle that is so smart and is capable of carrying out what my Soul’s mission here on this planet is meant to do and carry out.

But along this journey, I realize that just like a spaceship, this physical vessel can also run out of fuel, or start running on outdated malware making it run inefficiently.

And that is where I’ve had to ensure I also learned how to properly fuel it, nourish it, and constantly update the software and hardware to make sure its running and smoothly and efficiently as possible.

When it’s running as efficiently as possible, this is where I am able to truly explore the fullest potential and capabilities of what my physical vessel can do.

And experience — from the beautiful sights around the world, exposing my physical vessel to all kinds of physical movement, out of comfort zone experiences, taking in different sights and cultures through food and the five senses of sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste.

Through emotion — within the 27 years and change of getting to live and experience being in this vessel, I’ve gotten to experience so much love, being loved, and loving those around me, something I feel like this particular vessel just has such a strong affinity for, to also experiencing the heart- and gut-wrenching experience of loss, anywhere from the expansive nature of heartbreak to grief and loss.

And it made me realize, that not one is ‘bad,’ or ‘good,’ because it is in experiencing the very extremes of all these emotions, thoughts, sensations, and so on, that cultivates our fullest expression of the world around us.

And along this journey, naturally there is just SO much world to experience for ourselves, that we get to experience the completely unique worlds lived by others around us, and that is what I feel like becomes such a beautiful joy of living.

What makes it so special is that when we are brought into this world, the particular vessel we inhabit also comes with a set of internal structures called families, parents who thankfully love you so dearly, a sister who teaches you responsibility, holding yourself up to the highest standard possible, and an entire lineage spread out across the world with so much love to give you, until you learn how to love yourself.

And to top it all off, you get to explore this world and find your chosen family through a person.

Someone whose world you fall so deeply in love with, learning about the way they’ve experienced life living in their own physical vessel, experiencing all the hurt, the passion, the love, the hardships, the wins, the losses, and charisma that you had never experienced before to that level until you met this person.

And you realize that the Universe is so crazy in how it works.

One of my hardest lessons was learning loss, and so it protects my loved ones but also taught me to fight for the well-being of myself and the people who mean the world to me.

And now, that’s what I now use to fuel what my Soul’s own unifying mission on this Earth is, and it’s for others to be able to experience life from this same lens that we are all meant to live out our lives to its fullest expression

One that is not limited by being stuck in constant distorted thought patterns of limitation, suppressed emotions from the past, or experiences that were solely meant to teach us one thing but not get us stuck.

One where people are able to raise up and experience life from such a beautiful whole lens, that anything is truly possible.

And as I continue to cultivate mine, I realize it is in helping raise up as many people up to their fullest potential is what my Soul’s mission is.

And the vehicle that allows my vessel to do that is in my Soul’s work, my Soul’s journey.

And for this, I am eternally grateful.

Here’s to going out into the week ahead, excited about all the opportunities that are to come, grounding me in the peace of knowing, this life is, indeed, a gift.
